Romulus Fatal Motorcycle Accident

Our Michigan motorcycle accident lawyers just filed a fatal motorcycle accident lawsuit yesterday in the Wayne County Circuit Court in Detroit, Michigan.  Our firm was hired by the family of the biker.  The lawsuit seeks money damages for his death and all other damages permissible under the Michigan Wrongful Death Act.

The biker suffered fatal injuries while riding his motorcycle on I-275 in Romulus.  His bike was struck by a tire that separated from a trailer being pullled by a pick-up truck and rolled into him.  The impact caused him to be thrown from his bike and he was killed.  Police are still investigating the accident.

Fatal Detroit Police Chase

I saw a story on the news this morning about the tragic accident occurring in a Fatal Detroit Police Chase on the west side. According to police, the chase allegedly started when a pick-up truck in Taylor fled the police and continued onto the west side of Detroit. While travelling eastbound on Michigan Avenue, the truck allegedly crashed into a minivan then sideswiped a parked car before crashing into a pole and erupting in flames. One person is dead and other injuries are unknown at this point. Police are still investigating the crash.

I am very sorry to hear about this tragic car accident and wish my most heart-felt condolences to the family of the deceased person for their loss. I wish any injured parties a complete and full recovery and hope that they do not suffer permanent injuries from this horrible accident.

In this lawsuit, the injured parties and the family of the deceased victims can claim damages and compensation for the injuries suffered in the accident.  The insurance company for the negligent driver typically pays a settlement for this type of case.

Also, the family members of the deceased victims may have a claim for a Michigan wrongful death lawsuit against the driver that police determine was negligent and caused these car accidents. At the very least, the surviving family should hire the best possible lawyer to look into these possibilities.
