Detroit Woman Seriously Injured In Pedestrian-Car Accident

Our Detroit car accident lawyers are reporting a story in the news recently about an Eastpointe pedestrian-car accident that took place at the intersection of Gratiot Avenue and Chestnut.  The car accident took place around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 11th. According to police, a woman was crossing Gratiot from east to west, while walking her dog, and was struck by vehicle.  The woman suffers serious injuries and was taken to St. John Hospital in Detroit.  Her dog was killed at the scene of the accident.

Detroit Hit And Run Pedestrian Accident

Our Detroit car accident lawyers are reporting a story in the paper about a Detroit pedestrian accident.  The accident was a hit and run.  According to police, a 53-year-old pedestrian was struck on East Michigan Avenue by a 16-year-old boy driving a vehicle.  The young boy fled the scene but police found him on North Prospect Street. The pedestrian struck suffers injuries due to the hit and run accident.

Teen Killed in Michigan Car-Pedestrian Accident

There was a tragic story in the news today about a teenage girl was killed in a car-pedestrian accident. The accident took place, Saturday, July 10th shortly before midnight on East Sydney road in Sydney township.  According to deputies, the 14-year-old girl was walking down the road when a car driving in the same direction hit her. The young girl was taken to the Grand Rapids hospital where she died the next morning.

Fatal Detroit Pedestrian Hit and Run Accident

There was a tragic story in the paper today about a man in a fatal Detroit hit and run accident on December 29th on Detroit’s west side. According to the Detroit Police, a blue Ford Explorer allegedly hit a Nissan Maxima, driven by an 18-year-old woman, near the intersection of Schaeffer and Schoolcraft, that caused the Maxima to hit a 56-year-old man standing nearby.

The 18-year-old woman and 56-year old man were rushed to Sinai-Grace Hospital for treatment of their serious injuries. However, the 56-year old man did not make it to the hospital in time and was pronounced dead on arrival. Police are still investigating this accident and are searching for an Explorer with the Michigan license plate of CBP-9943.
