Sterling Heights Hit And Run Accident Kills Man On Bike

There was a story in the paper yesterday about a Sterling Heights hit and run accident. The accident took place on Wednesday, June 23rd, at the intersection of Dequindre Road and 14 Mile Road.  According to Sterling Heights Police, a man was riding his bicycle when he was struck by a car. The vehicle did not stop. Immediately after the bicyclist was struck, he was struck by another vehicle who did stop after the accident. The bicyclist was taken to the Oakland General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

I am very sorry to hear about this tragic accident and offer the family of the deceased bicyclist my most sincere condolences.

Grosse Pointe Woods Bicycle Accident

I read a story in the paper today about a Grosse Pointe Woods Bicycle Accident. According to Grosse Pointe Woods Public Safety, a 48-year-old woman and her son were riding a bicycle across Mack Avenue when they were allegedly hit by a 28-year-old woman in a Honda Civic. The woman suffered serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital. Her son received minor injuries. The accident is still under investigation.
