Romulus Fatal Motorcycle Accident

Our Michigan motorcycle accident lawyers just filed a fatal motorcycle accident lawsuit yesterday in the Wayne County Circuit Court in Detroit, Michigan.  Our firm was hired by the family of the biker.  The lawsuit seeks money damages for his death and all other damages permissible under the Michigan Wrongful Death Act.

The biker suffered fatal injuries while riding his motorcycle on I-275 in Romulus.  His bike was struck by a tire that separated from a trailer being pullled by a pick-up truck and rolled into him.  The impact caused him to be thrown from his bike and he was killed.  Police are still investigating the accident.

Detroit Hit & Run Suspect Arrested

I posted on our Detroit Car Accident Lawyer Blog site a tragic story about a woman who suffered fatal injuries in a Detroit Hit and Run Motorcycle Accident.  Police were investigating the accident and following up on leads to track down the driver who left the scene of this accdient.

Detroit police have arrested Antionette Brown related to the accident.  She has been charged with several accounts, including manslaughter and failing to stop at the scene of a fatal accident causing death.  She was formally charged yesterday and will appear shortly for an arraignment.

This is great news for victims of hit and run accidents.  Too often, people with knowledge regarding an accident or the driver never come forward, leaving injury victims and their families in the dark, waiting for answers on the driver who left the scene.  Most people simply cannot understand how someone can go on with their life knowing that they destroyed another persons, without coming forward and taking responsibility.
